Since March, multinational automakers including General Motors, Foton, Honda, Toyota, and Nissan have all been affected by semiconductor supply shortages. According to industry insiders, this round of chip shortages may not be alleviated until at least the second half of this year.

Previously, Weilai Automobile also announced that due to the shortage of chips, it decided to temporarily suspend production for 5 working days, which may cause a certain delay in the delivery of Weilai Automobile in the first quarter. However, a salesperson at a Weilai car store said that he has not received any notice of delayed delivery.
