How to brake the DC brushed motor when the power is off?

Applications

The following is the H-bridge controlled by my single-chip microcomputer, which is used to control the DC brushed motor. Now I want it to be in a braking state when it is powered off. Ask the great gods for advice.

The description is normal. When the motor is rotated by hand, the motor is equivalent to a DC generator and generates self-generation. The current flows through the reverse diode connected in parallel outside the motor to generate a loop, which hinders the rotation of the motor (similar to the energy consumption of the motor) move).

If the motor is not connected in parallel with the reverse diode, this phenomenon can be eliminated, but the speed regulation performance of the motor will deteriorate and the drive tube will be easily damaged.

If you want to cancel the brake of the motor, this circuit has no solution. The only feasible method is to connect a relay contact in series with the motor and disconnect it when it is not running to solve the static brake of the motor.

The simplest is to add a brake to the motor,

Or cut off the power and short-circuit the motor wire.

Add a brake! Effective braking.

A relay is connected to the lower bridge, which will be turned on and braked after power failure.
