EL2003CN

The internal output short circuit current limiting feature of the EL2003C and EL2033C is designed to protect against excessive power dissipation when the output is shorted to ground, especially when operating on ±15V supplies. This feature ensures that the power dissipation does not exceed 1.5W and allows the devices to survive an indefinite short. The recovery time to come out of the current limit is about 250ns.

The proprietary process used in the construction of the EL2003C and EL2033C that produces transistors with essentially identical AC and DC characteristics is Elantec's dielectric isolation process. This process results in NPN and PNP transistors with consistent AC and DC performance .

The EL2003C and EL2033C unity gain buffers have a bandwidth of 100MHz.
